Closed Monday and Tuesday.
Closed on Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Parking
Free parking is available on the east side of the museum. Please remain on the east side of the airport fence for your safety. Under no circumstances are vehicles allowed on the runway.

Tickets available for purchase upon arrival at the museum.

Group Rates: $12 + tax per person. Reservation required to receive group rate.

Arriving by Air?
The Amelia Earhart Airport runway 16-34 is closed for renovations. Re-opening is anticipated in Spring 2026.
Visitors can fly directly into the Amelia Earhart Hangar Museum thanks to its location at the Amelia Earhart Memorial Airport (K59) in Atchison, Kansas, just 45-minutes northwest of Kansas City.
The runway 16-34 will be replaced by runway 9-27, a 4,000 ft. x 75 ft. concrete runway. For any runway-related questions contact the FBO office at 913-426-4545.
The Amelia Earhart Memorial Airport (K59) is a 24-hour airport and terminal with a courtesy car, fuel, pilots lounge, flight planning station, aircraft maintenance services, and a flight school. For more information, please call the FBO at 913-426-4545.
