Years later, his vision has become reality, and it’s just the beginning. The Atchison Amelia Earhart Foundation is committed to providing access to life-affirming field trips to all students. We’re on a mission to raise $9,000 to launch a scholarship fund to provide 1,500 students the incredible opportunity to dive into the world of Amelia Earhart, aviation, and STEM education at the Amelia Earhart Hangar Museum.

We hear from countless teachers each year eager to bring their classes to the Museum, but even the discounted admission price of $6 per student makes it a challenge for many. We believe every student deserves the opportunity to explore the captivating exhibits, learn about Amelia’s trailblazing legacy in aviation, and grasp essential STEM concepts.
