Aviation STEAM Fest is a free, outdoor family-friendly event designed to educate, inspire and empower youth with a variety of activities and paper airplane competitions.
Join the fun at the Aviation STEAM Fest! This family-friendly event is designed to inspire and engage youth of all ages with a variety of activities and competitions. Whether you’re an aspiring innovator, an inquisitive explorer, or just looking for a fun day out, the Aviation STEAM Fest has something for everyone. Come and discover the thrill of flight and the excitement of STEAM! Pre-registration is encouraged.
Please note that if you’d also like to visit the museum, there is an entry fee which is separate from the STEAM event. The museum has some incredible exhibits that we think you’ll absolutely love! It’s open from 10 AM to 5 PM that day.
Join us for Remake Learning Days in Kansas City!
Kansas City is a community of learning! Join us for Remake Learning Days where youth and families engage in innovative hands-on learning activities across our region. A variety of organizations — such as schools, libraries, nonprofits, businesses and other community partners — will come together to provide our youth and families with innovative learning experiences. Mark your calendar for the festival between April 26-May 14, 2025. Come back in March 2025 to begin exploring events.
About KC STEM Alliance
KC STEM Alliance is a not-for-profit collaborative network of educators, businesses and related organizations working to inspire interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math with the mission of generating a robust workforce of related professionals for the greater Kansas City region. It was founded in 2011 to connect the many STEM education and workforce initiatives in our community. The alliance serves as the backbone organization for Kansas City’s STEM learning ecosystem; supports leading in-school and out-of-school STEM programs; and focuses on addressing inequities in STEM education by closing opportunity gaps.
For Remake Learning Days, KC STEM Alliance serves as the regional lead organization and collaborates with other RLD regional festivals as well as local organizations across Kansas City.
